Bali is a magical place in Indonesia which is part of South-East Asia. Bali is a paradise full of beaches and rainforests. I’ve been there more than 5 times and it has always been a great experience. I’ve been there with my family, my partner, and, my best mates. In Bali, I’ve tried white water rafting, scuba diving, jet-skiing, and, much more. Additionally, the food there is nothing short of amazing and inexpensive.

Besides the obvious attractions, there are other factors that add to its magic. For instance, the people of Bali are extremely pleasant and helpful. I remember playing football on the beach with these Balinese people and some other tourists. It was a day to remember.

I will definitely revisit Bali many more times in my life. I will probably be back there this summer during my holidays with some of my closest friends.

The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf is the book that sparked my interest in nutrition during my time in National Service and I have never looked back. Prior to this, I was on course to pursue a degree in Accounting and Finance with my Diploma of Commerce being the acceptable prerequisite to University.

Paleo is short for paleolithic and refers to cavemen in this case as their diet is discussed. This encompasses mainly vegetables, meat, fish, nuts and seeds. It did not allow grains, legumes, and more of that sort. Unsurprisingly, that completely rules out fast food and battered dishes. I tried this diet back in 2014 and was amazed by its effects. My current eating habits are largely based on the paleo diet.

While I acknowledge that this diet is not for everybody, I still encourage people to give it a go. Like me, one could modify this eating style to fit his/her requirements better.

My Hobby, My Passion

Football is the hobby I love ever so dearly. I have been playing since I was seven, starting out as a goalkeeper. Now, I play outfield and prefer to be in the center of midfield. Interestingly, I was a goalkeeper for the under-16 team of a football club back home called Tampines Rovers FC for a short period of time.

I was part of the school football team during my early teenage years. I remember winning my first interschool football tournament back in 2008. I look back fondly at the final match of the tournament in which we emerged victorious, winning by one goal in a high scoring game of football.

I love to watch football as well, being a die-hard Arsenal fan. I have been supporting the Arsenal since the tender age of 8 after watching them win the premier league and going the whole season unbeaten. Football is and always will be the first true love of mine.
